January 15, 2020:

Impeachment is on everyone’s lips!  The Articles of Impeachment were being marched by somber Democrats from the House of Representative to the Senate as the SaddleBrooke Republican Club members met in the Mountain View Ballroom to hear their keynote speaker the Honorable Frank Riggs.  Frank Riggs served three terms in the United State House of Representatives during the years of Clinton’s presidency.  Representative Riggs’ last vote in the House of Representatives was cast in favor of President Clinton’s impeachment.  Representative Riggs shared multiple stories about Clinton’s impeachment process and drew comparisons with the present procedure of Trump’s impeachment.

Sharing the spotlight was Nathan Duell, Regional Co-ordinator for the South West for Heritage Action.  Heritage Action turns conservative ideas into reality on Capitol Hill.  Heritage Action’s unique strategy combines inside-the Beltway lobbying with outside-the Beltway grassroots pressure to preserve conservative principals.  Nathan gave a brief legislative update on the Born-Alive Act in Congress and finished with a sketch of the 2020 efforts of  Heritage Action.
