The posting of the colors by the Golder Ranch Color Guard set the patriotic tone as the SaddleBrooke Republican Club members honored our veterans at the November General Meeting.  Liam Boyd, from the Tucson Arizona Boys Chorus, in a clear tenor voice, sang God Bless America and America the Beautiful in reverence to the land of the free and the brave. The Tucson Arizona Boys Chorus has been selected to sing in Washington, D.C. at this year’s lighting of the national Christmas tree.

All branches of the service were honored as our veterans stood when their branch of the military was announced.

General Douglas Mac Arthur in full uniform (Wayne Larroque) delivered the Invocation and blessed the food as the SaddleBrooke Republican Club members dined on Chicken Cordon Bleu.

The meal was followed by the keynote speaker, Daniel McCarthy, who is a candidate for the Republican nomination to the U. S. House of Representatives.

A special young man, Chase Hoel, an eighth grade student from Pusch Ridge Academy, shared his award winning patriotic essay to close the meeting. Chase was rewarded with the opportunity of laying a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Washington, D.C.
